We all have heard the word peace, but only a handful of us have truly understood its meaning, and only a pinch of us have actually applied it.

The question arises—why are only some people able to apply it? Why not all, when the majority wants peace in life? Those who cannot apply it try their best to find the answer, yet they fail. This happens because they search for peace in the outer world, without realising that the real answer lies within themselves.

So, let me help you find that answer for yourself.

  • Daily growth:

Many people don’t even know what they are doing and why. Start by gaining clarity in whatever you do by asking yourself “why” for every action. When you begin answering honestly, you will realise that many things you do have no real purpose, and that is what creates disturbance in your mental peace.

  • Be with yourself:

Take out some time from your busy schedule and sit with yourself. Think about the good and bad things you did and how you can improve. When you disconnect from everything around you and connect with yourself by simply breathing calmly, you begin to feel that peace within.

  • Connect with the Supreme Power:

There is a Supreme Power that created all of us and gave us this beautiful life. For me, that power exists in the form of my parents. Stepping out of my room and giving them a hug feels nothing less than any religious ritual. I connect to mine—you connect to yours—and that connection brings peace.

  • Prioritise your work:

Everything in this world is not important for you. Focus only on what truly matters. When you stop giving attention to unnecessary things, your mind automatically gets space to rest and feel peaceful.

  • Express yourself:

Talk to people who are close to you—those who don’t just hear you but truly listen to you. Share your problems and your thoughts with them. This helps you release the burden in your mind and brings a sense of relief and calmness.

EVERY THING IN THIS WORLD HAS ITS OWN BEAUTY...
EVERY THING IN THIS WORLD HAS ITS OWN BEAUTY...

My journey: I was never in a state of disturbance because I naturally followed these five things—not because someone told me to, but because I understood one simple truth: peace already exists inside you. It is you who allows disturbance to enter your mind.

If you don’t allow it, it won’t stay. For example, as you are reading this, you are breathing continuously. But if you want, you can hold your breath. In the same way, you have control over what enters your mind. Just like you control your breathing, you can control disturbance too.

The problem is not in the outside world—the problem is allowing negative things to stay inside. These simple things that I followed will surely help you remove the word “disturbed” from your dictionary and improve your inner peace daily....
